1 Mr. R. Sriram, Convention Chairman and Marketing VP – India Pistons, unveiled the key highlights of the mega convention

The National Institution for Quality and Reliability hosted a Press Conference on 23rd August 2025 at Hotel Hilton, Chennai, to announce its flagship event—the 18ᵗʰ NIQR Global Quality Convention on Quality & Reliability, scheduled for 28th& 29th August, 2025 t Hotel feathers.

Addressing the media, Mr. R. Sriram, Convention Chairman and Marketing VP – India Pistons, unveiled the key highlights of the mega convention, which will feature thought-provoking sessions on Quality 5.0, AI-driven transformation, sustainability, and industry competitiveness.

Mr. Murali Shankar, National President & Executive Vice chairman, Super Auto Forge underscored the pivotal role of supply chains in today’s fast-evolving business environment, noting that the convention would equip industry leaders with insights to strengthen resilience and agility.

Highlighting the MSME perspective, Dr. Vinod Surana, Managing Partner & CEO, Surana & Surana International Attorneys emphasized how the convention would open doors to global best practices, collaboration opportunities, and innovative approaches—empowering MSMEs to scale and thrive.

When asked about concerns that many MSMEs are still grappling with Industry 3.0 and lagging behind in Industry 4.0 adoption, Mr. C. V. Gowri Sankar, Chairman – Branding Committee, NIQR, pointed to the importance of preparing the next generation. He shared how NIQR’s flagship Industry 4.0 Lecture Program is equipping young engineers to look beyond academics, embrace emerging technologies, and adapt to the rapid shifts shaping the future of industry.
