Mr. Chandrashekar is Managing Director of AceMicromatic MIT, India's 1st mover and leader in Industry 4.0, and Smart Manufacturing IIoT products – which has won several prestigious awards, including CMTI, FIE, PC Quest, NASSCOM, Economic Times “Best Brands”, ET- Lenovo “SMB Business Leader”.
The company is part of the 6,500 people strong AceMicromatic group, India’s largest manufacturer of Precision CNC Machines and Automation products.
An entrepreneur and Technology visionary, he brings cutting-edge technology and thought leadership from global leaders in USA such as Commerce One, Merant, Nortel, and other start-ups.
Mr. Chandrashekar’s vision and leadership have helped create several Industry-First cutting edge software, deployed at Fortune 500 companies such as SAP, Ford, Toyota, Daimler, Fidelity, and in diverse industry segments.
He has an M.S. from the State University of New York, Bachelor of Engineering, and PGDM from IISc, Bangalore.
He serves as Director of the Board at the Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers Association IMTMA, Member of CII’s National Manufacturing Committee, CII Smart Manufacturing Council, and other entities.
He served as Lead of India's 2023 G20 Task Force on Digitization/Industry 4.0, and is an invited speaker at international forums.
